Overall I had a great experience with Go Solar Power. Richard was my salesperson and he provided me with good service and was always available by phone or email during and after the sale. Evan was the project manager and he too was always available and always very timely in his replies. I installed the Enphase 'Daylight backup" system that allows the solar panels to have some function during the day during a grid outage without battery backup. This works as advertised and it is exactly what I was expecting. I would recommend Go Solar Power and would use them again.

We purchased a system on credit because it got us a 30% tax credit, which we needed since we had large capital gains from the sale of our previous home. At first we didn't think the investment was going to be worth it and complained about the performance. It took quite a few calls, but eventually Court sent out his crew with five more panels at no cost. Now on a typical sunny day we are selling more power to FPL than we are using. Cloudy days cut the production down, but I can tell that it will even out in a few more months, making the investment worth it. We are happy with the purchase and appreciative Court took care of us.

With all the trials this country has gone through, keeping with a down to earth business model is very hard but Go Solar Power came to the rescue after making many phone calls to 10 different solar companies. My primary solar company had abandoned a solar project to install a system on my house, after alot of money wasted and headache, They accepted the challenge of taking on the project at a very reasonable price. Go Solar Power is amazing. I would highly recommend them to anyone. The process was very quick and easy. Jaime Vera was my salesperson. I appreciated that he didn’t use any hard sales tactics, like other solar companies use, to get me to sign. Once I did sign, the project team quickly contacted me to introduce themselves and inform me about the process. The permitting was the longest part of it all, which of course was out of their hands, and yet they managed to make that step feel seamless. Every week they would contact me to give me an update and let me know they were still waiting for the permits. Once they received them, they quickly scheduled me for my installation. The installation was super quick, it took a day, and the crew was great. Martin and the other 3 guys worked very diligently and didn’t leave any mess behind. They communicated with me during the install, answered any questions I had, and provided me with pictures of the installation and some cool drone pictures of my new panels! All in all, I’m very happy that I contracted Go Solar for this project. Thank you to the entire team!!

The popularity of solar power is growing, and along with it, myths about it are keeping pace. As seasoned solar power professionals, we’re here to bust the most common myths with the facts.
Myth: The government will pay for your solar system.

Busted: No, the government will not pay for your solar system. However, when you purchase solar panels for your home or business, you will be eligible for a tax credit of 30% of the cost on your federal income tax bill. At tax time, you can use your solar tax credit to reduce your IRS by the tax credit amount.
A tax credit is not the same as a tax deduction; it’s better. They both reduce your bill, but a credit reduces your taxes on a dollar-for-dollar basis. In addition, businesses can also take advantage of MACRS deprecation.
So, while the government will not pay for your solar power installation, it will give you a hefty discount.
Myth: Solar panels will harm my roof, especially if it is old.

Busted: Worrying that installing solar panels may harm your roof is not unusual, but you can be assured that our installers take every precaution to prevent leaks and other damage. We are licensed, qualified professionals with an A rating from the Better Business Bureau and a 4.8 Google rating.
Damaged or aged roofs need to be restored before solar panels are installed. This cost can also qualify under the federal solar tax credit as a part of the installation.

Your electric bill will be reduced, but you may have a bill to pay. Since utility rates go up, yours will not, and you may find that your bill is reduced or goes away.
